Northeastern Electric Racing
Mechanical Engineer | September 2024 - May 2025 | Boston, MA
Overview: I previously served as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer for Northeastern Electric Racing, where I gained hands-on experience in mechanical design, structural analysis, and manufacturing-focused engineering. Although I learned a lot through this role, I am no longer involved with the team as I chose to focus on opportunities more closely aligned with my long-term interests in medical devices and healthcare engineering.

Responsibilities included:
-
Designed and modeled suspension system mounts connecting the chassis, control arms, and wheel knuckles
-
Performed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in SOLIDWORKS Simulation to optimize mount strength, stiffness, and overall performance
-
Supported design iteration based on loading requirements and packaging constraints within the vehicle suspension system
-
Began developing CNC machining skills, including the use of HSMWorks, to better understand design-for-manufacturing and fabrication workflows
